FX Aegis Mega

Built for complex terrain. Ready for every mission.

Mid-size industrial-grade wheel-legged embodied AI robot
From $74,990

Wheel-legged architecture

High-speed mobility.
Exceptional traversability.

Aegis Mega cruising in wheeled mode along a petrochemical plant road

The speed of a wheeled robot and the terrain adaptability of a quadruped, combined in a single platform. Fast and quiet on flat ground, and just as capable on stairs, ditches and broken surfaces.

8 m/s Maximum speed
45° Maximum gradient; climbs 25 cm stairs continuously
80 cm Maximum single-step obstacle clearance

Full-field perception

It sees everything.
No blind spots.

Dual 96-line 3D LiDAR (approx. 860,000 points/sec) and dual wide-angle cameras build a full 360° point cloud view — detecting obstacles and occluded targets earlier in rubble, tunnels, mountains and plant sites, then planning a safe route through them.

Dual 96-line 3D LiDAR, approx. 860,000 points/sec
360° Point cloud coverage, with dual wide-angle cameras filling the gaps
Dual 8-core 64-bit Industrial processors run perception, navigation and mission tasks in parallel

Payload and expansion

One platform.
Carries the entire mission.

Gigabit Ethernet, 72 V power, RF video transmission and a range of communication and control interfaces leave room to integrate robotic arms, gimbals, gas sensors and industry-specific payloads. Choose the payload and solution that fits the mission.

25 kg Rated payload
50 kg Maximum load capacity
Extensive interfaces Supports a wide range of industry payloads and solutions

Endurance and recharging

One deployment.
The entire route.

Up to ≥5 hours of runtime and ≥29 km of range — enough for large campuses, long pipeline runs and extended missions in the field. Dual batteries hot-swap without powering down, and autonomous charging makes true 24/7 uninterrupted operation possible.

≥5 hours Longest runtime in the series
≥29 km Longest range in the series
1.5 hours To charge one battery; hot-swap and autonomous charging supported

Industrial-grade protection

Rain, snow, wind, dust.
None of it stops work.

Up to IP67 protection across the range against rain, dust and humidity, with a −20°C to +55°C operating temperature range. It keeps working through rain, airborne dust, heat and cold — so there is less waiting on downtime.

IP67 Industrial-grade ingress protection against rain, dust and humidity
−20 ~ +55°C Operating temperature range

Autonomous navigation and avoidance

It recognises on its own.
It plans intelligently.

360° mapping, omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, path planning and dynamic re-planning, with motion strategies that switch according to gradient, obstacles and surface conditions — taking the wheel-legged advantage beyond mechanics into a closed loop of perception, decision and motion control. Set a destination and it travels there by itself, re-routing around obstacles that appear along the way.

360° mapping Omnidirectional avoidance, path planning and dynamic re-planning
Adaptive gait Switches automatically with gradient, obstacles and surface conditions — no step-by-step operator input

FF industry ecosystem solutions

From a single robot
to a complete solution.

Inspection tasks, alarm linkage, data upload, mission logging and fleet management — extending the robot itself into an operable, fully traceable industry solution.

Explore industry ecosystem solutions

The same price.
Nearly twice the performance.

A new performance benchmark among mid-size industrial robot dogs in its US price class. It reaches the stairs, ramps and unstructured areas that conventional wheeled equipment cannot. Combined with remote takeover, fleet scheduling and a mission management platform, it keeps people out of hazardous areas while significantly extending inspection coverage, response efficiency and operational continuity.
